About
Who I am and who this website is for
Dr. Guy Steuer
I am a specialist in general pediatrics, pediatric pulmonology, and sleep medicine. My clinic is located in Ganei Tikva, where I see children, adolescents, and young adults from the greater Tel Aviv area and beyond.
My clinical work focuses on the respiratory system — how children breathe during the day and how they sleep at night. These two areas are more connected than most people realize. A child who snores, sleeps restlessly, or has frequent nighttime awakenings may be struggling with airway obstruction, not just a behavioral issue. A child with a chronic cough that "just won't go away" may have asthma, reflux, or a structural airway finding that is worth investigating carefully.
My approach is holistic: I try to understand the whole child — their history, their environment, their family, and their daily functioning — before reaching a conclusion. I believe that an accurate, thoughtful diagnosis is the foundation of effective treatment, and that over-medicating or under-investigating are equally problematic.
I pay close attention to detail, to what parents describe between the lines, and to the moments children show me — not just the numbers on a report. My goal is for every family that comes to me to leave with clarity: they understand what was found, what it means, and what the plan is.
This website was built to extend that clarity beyond the clinic — to give parents and patients reliable, well-explained medical information on respiratory health, sleep, and related conditions in children and adolescents.
